Zeus EA
The Zeus EA from Elite CurrenSea is an automated forex trading system for the currency market. The expert advisor (EA) is designed to look for trading signals without user intervention. The Zeus EA has been developed for the popular MetaTrader 4 (MT4) desktop platform and trades the EUR/USD major currency pair. I am a fan of this particular currency pair as it tends to offer a decent amount of volatility due to its liquidity levels. This leaves ample room for spotting possible trading opportunities.
Zeus is a great name! For those who don’t know, Zeus is the god of the sky in ancient Greek mythology. As the chief Greek deity, Zeus is considered the ruler, protector, and father of all gods and humans. Zeus is often depicted as an older man with a beard and is represented by symbols such as the lightning bolt and the eagle.
Zeus EA Strategy
The Zeus EA uses a grid trading strategy. A grid strategy involves opening multiple orders in different directions in order to try and capitalise on the market regardless of the direction it moves in. Whilst this can be successful at time, if the market continues in a direction against multiple open orders, things can get messy. Thus, I would expect substantial drawdowns and therefore probably would not trade with a grid trading system. Others are happy to take the risk but it is important to be aware of how grid trading works. I have often seen accounts that are over leveraged blow up using grid systems.
Zeus EA Back Testing
Impressively, they have shared 99% modelling quality back tests of the Zeus EA in the MT4 strategy tester over a few years. This can give us a rough idea on the historical performance of the EA but is of course no guarantee of future performance. Especially when you consider the MT4 strategy tester limitations. We also do not know if they used real variable spreads, commissions and slippage in the back tests. These can all have a significant impact on the results of any trading system, especially a system that relies on small pip movements.
Zeus EA Myfxbook Results
There is also a Zeus EA real Myfxbook account kindly being shared by the developers. It has been running for a sustained period of time and can give you a statistical overview of the recent performance of the Zeus EA. It is worth bearing in mind that results can differ between brokers depending on various factors such as spreads, slippage, commission fees, servers, etc.
Zeus EA Cost
There are 2 options when it comes to running the Zeus EA, you can either rent it for a fixed fee or share any profits with the no fixed fee option that uses PAMM technology.

Percentage allocation management module, also known as percentage allocation money management or PAMM, is a form of pooled money forex trading.
