Milton Prime offers a great number of CFDs, traders will find the most popular instruments, with something for everyone to trade.

When you open an account with Milton Prime, you get access to trade instruments across various financial markets. This includes Forex, Indices, Stocks, Commodities and Cryptocurrencies. You can go short or long on hundreds of contracts for difference (CFD) instruments.

A contract for differences (CFD) is an arrangement made in financial derivatives trading where the differences in the settlement between the open and closing trade prices are cash-settled. There is no delivery of physical goods or securities with CFDs.

Leverage is as follows:

  • 1:5 for stock CFDs
  • 1:500 for forex – the account leverage does NOT apply for CFD trading. The margin for CFD trading is calculated by the formula below.
    Lots * Contract_size * Market price * Margin(%)

Trader Account

The Milton Prime individual trader account offers affordable Forex & CFD trading with multi-asset market access and 0% commission fees. All trades are executed with No Dealing Desk (NDD) intervention. This helps to ensure that there is no conflict of interest between broker and trader.

Thanks to the emphasis that the broker puts on their work with liquidity providers and technology providers along with strategic partnerships with top banks and prime brokerages, most trades are filled in under 10 milliseconds, with up to 2,000 executed trades per second. This also helps to ensure tight spreads and execution at the best available prices.

The brokers trading fees consists of Spread Fees, and Financing Fees (SWAP). You can trade all markets from just one account.

Milton Prime Trading Fees
Milton Prime Trading Fees

The spread is a difference in price between buy and sell (plus any broker mark-ups) and determines the part of the fee you pay.  Milton Prime have very competitive spreads considering there is no commission charged, starting from around just 0.8 pips on the EUR/USD currency pair.

The swap fee is the fee you pay for opening a trade with a borrowed capital (leverage). Since you are borrowing money to stay in the trade, it creates (Long or Short) Financing Fees (SWAPs). This is a normal fee charged by the majority of brokers.

The maximum leverage available is quite high at 1:500. Leverage allows you to trade a larger position size. It is important to make sure that you have a clear understanding of leverage and how it works before you enter leveraged positions.

Milton Prime normally execute 99.9% of trades without compromising on margin requirements and trading fees, to help try and ensure that you never miss the right trading opportunities for your individual goals.

A Maintenance/Inactivity Fee will be taken from all Accounts that do not trade for 60 days. The Maintenance/ Inactivity Fee will be deducted every month until there is trading activity. The fee is $30, €30, ¥3000.
