Here we will take a look at the Bounce Trader EA, covering the trading strategy that it uses, along with analysing any backtests provided and most important, verified real results. Bounce Trader is a system that doesn’t use high risk techniques, and is selective on its trades utilizing a 3-point entry system. Unfortunately, there are no back tests shared by the developer on the official Bounce Trader website. This could have given us an indication of historical performance, especially is using 99% modelling quality along with tick data, variable spreads, commissions and slippage.
Without any backtests of the Bounce Trader robot, we cannot really get a clear indication of the trading strategy that it is using. Backtests can highlight important statistics for interested users, including profit factor, drawdown, gains and more. Overall, I do see the potential with the Bounce Trader EA and know that the LeapFX team behind its development have plenty of experience creating automated trading systems. In saying that, many of them do not have backtests or up to date results, just like this one. The others I have seen with quite high drawdowns to be honest with you. This expert advisor does combine a variety of market analysis which I do like, I just think it will require some input and adjustment from the user to reach its full potential.
